In fact, upgrading the hard disk to a newer one such as SSD, and increasing RAM will make your Mac Mini run faster and smoother.
Talking about the hard drive, you can swipe any 2.5-inch hard drive, but you’ll need to ensure that it’s of a large capacity, something like 1TB so that in the future you won’t need to upgrade again. The RAM can be easily replaced as that’s the first thing that you’ll spot after opening the back cover.
