We’re just under one month away from the release of the Xbox One X which is supposed to be Microsoft’s answer to the PS4 Pro. If you haven’t placed your pre-order for the upcoming console then you’ll be happy to know that it looks like some retailers are beginning to offer bonus games to sweeten the deal. Curry’s PC World in the UK is offering a nice bundle to convince people to switch and pre-order the Xbox One X.
What do you get in this special pre-order bundle? They are offering the Xbox One X and 3 free games. That’s right; for the price of your Xbox One X you get 3 games to get started gaming. Curry’s PC World is throwing in Forza Motorsport 7 which is pretty much brand new on the market. They are also adding Halo 5 Guardians and and Quantum Break to complete the deal. Those last two titles are a little older but still very popular. If you want to get the best bang for your buck then this pre-order deal is one of the best we have seen so far.
Other retailers may have to get in on the pre-order bonus action to be able to compete as gamers look to get their hands on the new Xbox One X which releases on November 7th. This updated version of the Xbox One X will offer 4K gaming and incredible performance. Microsoft has been lagging well behind Sony when it comes to sales of current generation consoles. Sony beat Microsoft to the premium console market with the PS4 Pro which released well before the Xbox One X was even announced. Gamers who wanted 4K gaming have already had that option on console for awhile now. With that said; it’s better late than never and it’s nice to see Microsoft working on improving their lineup to ensure that gamers can get the best performance no matter what platform they’re on.
The price of the Xbox One X is a little more than pocket change which is why it’s nice to see some bundled games being added to pre-order sales. Being able to start playing without having to drop even more money is pretty nice. Of course, the Xbox One X will be on a lot of holiday wish lists this year. It will be interesting to see how sales go with such a high price tag. Will gift buyers splurge and buy the more expensive Xbox One X or will they opt for the much more affordable Xbox One S?
What do you think about this pre-order deal for the Xbox One X? If more retailers start to offer deals like this around the world would you be convinced to pre-order the new console or will you hold off to read some reviews first? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
