Fixed: T-Mobile Users Can Now Download And Install iOS 10

Updated on

On Thursday, T-Mobile warned its customers against installing the iOS 10 on their iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus or iPhone SE models. T-Mobile customers who had already upgraded to the iOS 10 were complaining of lost network connections. The carrier’s CTO Neville Ray later informed users that one way to regain cellular connectivity temporarily was by restarting your phone.

How to get the iOS 10 patch for T-Mobile

T-Mobile’s outspoken CEO John Legere said in a tweet that Apple was working to resolve the issue. The telecom company was expecting the iPhone maker to fix the issue with 24-48 hours. Late Thursday night, Apple released a patch for the network connectivity issue. That means T-Mobile customers who own an iPhone SE, 6 or 6 Plus can now upgrade to iOS 10 and enjoy all the new features.

If you are a T-Mobile customer, and have already installed the iOS 10, go to Settings > General > About to get the new update that will fix the connectivity problem. If you are yet to download it, head over to Settings > General > Software Update to get the latest version of iOS without fear of losing your cellular connectivity.

iOS 10 jam-packed with new features

The iOS 10 was released earlier this week. Early adopters were quick to update their devices to the new OS. The rollout has been pretty smooth, barring a few minor hiccups. Apple’s new mobile software brings several new features including updates to the iMessage and Photos apps. Now you can also close multiple tabs in the Safari browser and delete the default apps you don’t use.

The new operating system is compatible with most of the iPhones, iPads and iPods currently in use. However, it can’t support all the devices out there because the older ones may not have the processing power and necessary hardware to run the latest iOS. The iOS 10 supports the 6th generation iPod Touch, all the iPhones released since 2012, and all the iPads expect for the iPad mini 1, iPad 2 and iPad 3.
