Apple dropped a bombshell about the iPhone X last week. Still, people are anticipating the release date of the Google Pixel 2. Google announced that the press event for the Pixel 2 and other devices will take place on October 4 at 12 p.m. Eastern.

Google probably intends to pass on that tradition to the Pixel 2 phones by adding the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. A not-yet-announced Snapdragon 836 was rumored to take that place. However, the vast majority of people think that Qualcomm chip is just a myth.
Unlike the iPhone X, the Pixel 2 series is rumored not to feature a bezel-less display. Still, the innovative dual front speakers are expected to make their appearance on Google’s new smartphones. Other features include a better and sharper camera and to extend the joy of using Pixel 2 smartphones, Google aims to enhance the battery life.
