The Nokia Lumia 520 has long remained as a budget Windows Phone, but then Nokia announced Lumia 525 at the end of November last year, which is aimed to be the successor of the much popular Lumia 520. As you can see from this comparison table, both the devices share the same specs, except that the Lumia 525 comes with double RAM, i.e. 1GB of RAM compared to 512MB RAM of Lumia 520. Apart from that, you won’t find anything enticing in the newly announced Lumia 525. So if Lumia 525 is not available in your country, or priced higher than the Lumia 520 (like in India), then simply grab a Lumia 520, as you won’t be missing much.
