Total miles traveled on all roads and streets were an estimated 263.6 billion miles in July, the U.S. Department of Transportation reports. This is a 1.6% increase from the 259.4 billion miles traveled July of 2012. The rolling 12 month total of vehicle miles driven is 2.9571 trillion miles.
