Best iPhone XS And XS Max Deals: Check Them Out For Great Savings

Updated on

The iPhone XS and XS Max pre-orders went live a week ago, and the devices have now officially hit the store shelves. People who own the iPhone X might not be interested in picking up the new phones. But those of you currently using the iPhone 8, 8 Plus or older models are probably scouring for the iPhone XS and XS Max deals.

The new OLED iPhones are ridiculously expensive, starting at $1,000 and going all the way up to $1,449 for the 512GB iPhone XS Max. These devices have larger displays, a longer battery life, and faster processors. The most affordable model, the iPhone XR that costs $749, won’t go on sale until October 26th.

Anyway, there are some pretty good iPhone XS and XS Max deals from wireless carriers. Just remember that most of them come with some strings attached, and many require you to trade-in your current phone (in good working condition). So, make sure to read the fine print before putting your money on the table. Let’s check them out:

iPhone XS and XS Max deals from AT&T

A&T is offering its popular ‘Buy one, give one‘ program on the iPhone XS and XS Max. Here’s how it works. If you buy the iPhone XS or XS Max, the telecom giant will give you $700 off the cost of the second handset. The second device could be iPhone 8, 8 Plus, iPhone X, XS or XS Max. It’s your choice. If you are picking the iPhone 8, you’ll effectively be getting it for free.

You have to buy both devices on the AT&T Next with a minimum combined plan of $65. You’ll not get $700 discount upfront. The company requires you to activate a new line, and then you’ll get the discount in the form of bill credits spread over 30 months. If you cancel the service on either phone at any point before it’s fully paid off, the device balance becomes due. Users will also have to shell out $30 activation fee.

Verizon’s deal is similar to that of AT&T’s $700 off promotion. Mix and match any two devices from iPhone XS, XS Max, iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus or 256GB iPhone 8. You have to add a new line to one of the handsets, and then you’ll see a $29.16 credit per month over a period of 24 months.

If you don’t want to add a second line and you have an older device lying around, the carrier is offering a $100 trade-in deal with the latest models. Your older phone must be in good working condition. You will see $100 as small monthly credits spread over 24 months. If the market value of your trade-in handset is more than $100, the company will give you its full value as an account credit in two bill cycles. Verizon is accepting both iPhones and Android devices for trade-in.

Sprint has some of the most attractive iPhone XS and XS Max deals. If you are planning to buy the iPhone XS (64GB), trade in your current phone and sign up for the 18-month Sprint Flex Lease. The iPhone XS will effectively cost you zero, meaning you’ll be paying only for their service ($41.67). This offer expires September 27th.

The iPhone XS Max is also available under the same terms, but you’ll have to pay $4.17 per month for the phone with an eligible trade-in. After 18 months, Sprint allows you to return or upgrade to the new models. You can also choose to buy it outright by making a lump sum payment of $250 or the same amount spread over six monthly payments.

T-Mobile is currently running two promotions. One is similar to AT&T and Verizon’s buy one and get $700 off the second one with a new line of service. The second offer involves trading-in an eligible iPhone (iPhone 7, 7 Plus or iPhone 8) and get $300 off the iPhone XS or XS Max. The discount will be in the form of bill credits across 24 months. You’ll have to stick to T-Mobile through that time.

T-Mobile is also giving $200 credit for the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, and $100 for any of the older models. The carrier is not accepting the iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus under the trade-in program because their trade-in value is much higher than $300.

US Mobile

The Verizon-powered carrier has one of the most lucrative iPhone XS and XS Max deals out there. It doesn’t require a trade-in and gives you a hefty $400 credit over the next 12 months. All you have to do is purchase their Starter Kit that costs just $4 and apply the promo code CHEAP400 at checkout. Then buy an iPhone XS or XS Max from Apple. When the device and the Starter Kit arrive, activate them both using the second promo code you’ll get from US Mobile. The offer is valid until the end of November, and it also applies to the upcoming iPhone XR.
