Samsung’s much-awaited Galaxy S10 flagship is only a few months away. We have already seen a bunch of leaks related to the device. The rumor mill is expecting Samsung to bring an entirely new design with the Galaxy S10 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its most popular smartphone lineup. Now a reliable tipster has shared an image of the Galaxy S10 3D glass screen, which suggests Samsung is heading into a bezel-less and notch-less future.
Check out the Galaxy S10 3D glass screen
Samsung is one of the rare Android vendors that have declined to copy the iPhone X’s display notch. Instead, the Korean company has been reducing the top and bottom bezels to expand the screen space without increasing the overall dimensions of its flagship phones. A recent patent filed by Samsung revealed that the company might be able to make its devices fully bezel-less without opting for the notch. And if the leaked Galaxy S10 3D glass screen is to be believed, the new technology is just around the corner.
Chinese tipster Ice Universe shared a picture of the Galaxy S10 3D glass screen on Twitter as well as Weibo. It shows off a notch-less display, though the device still appears to have a thin chin at the bottom. Considering there is no bezel or cutout at the top, Samsung could use a pop-up selfie camera similar to what some Chinese vendors have done or it could place the camera under the display panel.

According to the ever-reliable Evan Blass, the Galaxy S10 will have a “punch hole” style selfie camera cutout. It means the device will have a circular hole towards the top of the display for the front camera. All other sensors will be hidden under the screen. The Korean electronics heavyweight has shown off a similar technology called Infinity-O display, which doesn’t have a notch or bezel. It has only a small cutout in the screen for the front camera.
Few preliminary Galaxy S10 details:
– “Punch hole” style selfie cam cutout (sounds like Infinity-O display).
– Ultrasonic, in-display FPS
– Three rear cameras (standard/wide/tele)
– One UI over Android Pie— Evan Blass (@evleaks) November 13, 2018
A screen protector shared by Ice Universe last week also had a similar design. The screen protector or the Galaxy S10 3D glass screen don’t show the sign of the front camera cutout, though. Samsung hasn’t revealed much about the S10, but it has said that “very significant” design changes are coming to its future Galaxy S10 models.

Rumored Galaxy S10 features and specs
As per various reports, the Korean company is working to launch four different models of the S10 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona next year. One of the models will have a 5.8-inch AMOLED display with watered-down specs. This model will compete with devices from OnePlus and Pocophone. The two other models will be direct successors to the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus with 5.8-inch and 6.44-inch screens, respectively.
The fourth model is said to have a giant 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. Samsung is developing it under the code-name “Beyond X.” It would get all the latest and greatest features such as 5G connectivity and a ceramic back. The ceramic material supports wireless charging just like glass panels, but it is more rigid. According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, this model could also pack a total of six cameras – two on the front and four on the back. It is unclear what purpose the third and fourth cameras would serve, but Samsung has just launched a phone with four rear cameras. So, it’s not out of the realm of possibility.
Depending on the model you choose to buy, the Galaxy S10 will have 4GB to 12GB RAM. The 4GB might be exclusive to the entry-level model while 12GB might go into the most expensive 6.7-inch model. Samsung hasn’t yet launched a phone with even 10GB RAM. The Galaxy S10 would run Qualcomm’s next-gen Snapdragon 8150 or Samsung’s in-house Exynos 9820 chip, depending on the region. The new Exynos processor comes with an integrated neural processing unit to handle the AI tasks.
Samsung could also give its Bixby AI assistant a much-needed upgrade. Bixby lags far behind Google Assistant, Alexa, and Siri, but it could soon gain a new capability that none of its rivals have. Sources familiar with the matter told The Korean Herald that Bixby will soon be able to deliver company information (financial statements, quarterly results, etc.). The voice assistant would also allow you to invest in the stocks of your choosing. Of course, Bixby won’t be able to do it unless you give it access to your investment accounts. Samsung will also have to ensure that all the user data is secure.
