Galaxy Note 6 Concept: Take A Look At This Whole New Design

Updated on

While most Samsung fans are excited about the release of Galaxy S7 later this month, some are already looking forward to the Galaxy Note 6. There have been fewer leaks and rumors about the Note 6, which is expected to arrive in August or September. But concept designers have started imagining what Samsung’s next-gen phablet would look like. Now designers at (via Concept Phones) have released renders of the Galaxy Note 6.

Will Note 6 really have a 30MP camera?

Instead of taking inspiration from the existing Note model, the concept takes a whole new direction. It looks more like a Sony Xperia than Samsung Galaxy Note phablet. Designers imagine the Note 6 with a huge 30-megapixel main camera and 16-megapixel front snapper. That’s quite surprising given Samsung is reducing the megapixel count in the Galaxy S7 to focus on sensors and software to improve image quality.

Samsung is widely expected to reduce the megapixel count in Galaxy Note 6 as well, and improve the camera quality by other means. The Note 6 rendering boasts of 8GB RAM, which may seem realistic. The upcoming Note is expected to be as powerful as PC and offer a powerful gaming experience. Having 8GB RAM would help the device deliver in terms of gaming experience and multi-tasking.

What to expect in Galaxy Note 6

We can expect an improved S Pen stylus and a higher 256GB of built-in storage. Samsung is also rumored to incorporate a pressure-sensitive display technology in Galaxy Note 6, similar to the 3D Touch in Apple’s iPhone 6S. The Korean company has teamed up with Synaptics to use the latter’s ClearForce pressure-sensitive display technology in its future devices.

Among other things, the Note 6 is rumored to feature a 16-core Exynos processor and 4K Display. Concept Phones believes that there is 80% chance the 4K display will appear in Note 6. The phone will run Android Marshmallow out of the box. The Galaxy Note 6 is also likely to have a microSD card slot for expandable storage.
