Bernie Brode
Former contributor to the mid-80s MS-DOS kernel and various OEM adaptation kits. This was about the time that I began studying the history of cryptography and codebreaking as a hobby. This particular diversion eventually took on a life of its own and became a constant in my life, propelling me to Israel to undertake Master’s level studies at Ben-Gurion, where I discovered an affinity for nanotechnology. You might think that artificial intelligence rose up out of nowhere to take the world by storm in recent years but you haven’t seen anything yet. Wait until it combines with nanotechnology. Expect the resulting nanotech product parade to blow humanity’s collective mind across all industries in the near to medium-term future. Experiences: Cryptography, cybercurrencies, blockchain technology, quantum computing, cybersecurity, and nanotech products. Current Enjoyments: Presently researching and writing a book on how artificial intelligence, machine learning, and nanotechnology will shape the future of humanity. For an interesting worst-case-scenario, read Prey by Michael Crichton.
