Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) may release their fifth generation next spring, according to reports from a Japanese blog.
Mac Otakara cited unnamed sources in the matter that Apple would release a 9.7 inch tablet and the design would take after the iPad Mini. This gadget is predicted to measure 4mm in height, 17mm in width, and 2mm in depth. Mac Otakara also shared information about the next iPad Mini, which will feature a 7.9″ display and A6X processor.
MacOtakara specifically mentioned the following in their report:
However Chinese news ZOL (CBS Interactive) reported next iPad mini in AppleInsider’s article, according to my inside source, iPad 5 may be released in March, 2013.
Source told that, design of this new iPad will be like iPad mini in detail, and be thinner and lightweight.
Apple released their fourth generation iPad last October. If this current rumor is true, it signifies that Apple is on a pattern of releasing new iPad generations at an alarming rate.
Earlier there was a report from Digitimes that claimed Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) would introduce the next full size iPad sometime in the middle of next year. Their report claimed:
Apple is expected to introduce its next-generation iPad and iPhone series around the middle of 2013, which will boost demand for ICs in particular communications related chips during the latter half of the first quarter, according to the observers. Component orders placed by Apple, which climbed to high levels prior to the iPhone 5 rollout, will rise again between March and April, the observers indicated.
Given Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s history, it’s more likely that they will release the next iPhone sometime in the fall. However, it’s still possible that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) may release their next iPad in March which would be more on par with last year’s release.
