One thing I have wanted for a while is to be able to mine ADVs – these forms which became required for many hedge funds (and other asset managers) under Dodd-Frank. We are pleased to announce that we are working on a JV to develop this feature. ADVs contain a ton of details which 13Fs are lacking, however, ADVs are much harder to search, until now.
For now we have a limited results list for searches containing basic fund info such as address, phone number, website, email, historic AUM and a link to the ADV for each fund where you can find more. We hope to be adding more over the coming months as we figure out how to rip more data so stay tuned and feedback is welcome.
