The number of complaints about Tinder being down continues to rise as users report their problems on sites like Down Detector, Twitter and other social platforms. At this point, Tinder has yet to acknowledge any issue, either on its own website or on its social media accounts. However, complaints about it being down continue to pour in. It sounds like the two main problems are not being able to view matches and not being able to send or receive messages.

Previously

Tinder is down for users around the world, leaving singles adrift without the ability to see their potential matches. When users try to look at their matches, the most widely-seen messages are “error 5000” or a statement that “Something went wrong.” However, others are reporting that the app itself seems to be working, but their messages aren’t sending.

Reports about Tinder being down go back for a few hours. It’s unclear whether the company is aware of the outage, but so many people have taken to social media to complain that one would think it must be aware and working on the problem.
