The Galaxy S5 rumors continue to roll around, and today, we’ve got a pair of interesting ones. Once again we’re hearing that the handset will come in both metal and plastic varieties, and this time, both come with their own rumored price tags.

Metal Galaxy S5 to sell for €150 more

Sam Mobile cites a source who reportedly handed over a virtual treasure trove of information about the Galaxy S5, if that source is to be trusted. The source said past rumors that there would be both metal and plastic versions of the handset are correct. The person even provided prices for both versions, saying that the metal Galaxy S5 would sell for about €800, while the plastic version would sell for about €650.

But for Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) fans hoping for a full metal backing on the Galaxy S5, looks might be deceiving. Sam Mobile said although this latest source didn’t provide details, there was a recent rumor indicating that the sides and front of the metal version would be metal, but the back would just be metallic. Also the website noted that the metal version of the Galaxy S5 could end up having a different name, like perhaps the Galaxy F name which has been circulated for some time now.

Other rumored features of the Galaxy S5

Phone Arena also reported this week that the Galaxy S5 may have a new kind of Lithium-ion battery with 2900 mAh of capacity. That may not sound like a big deal because the Galaxy S4 has a 2600 mAh battery. However, the new version of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930)’s flagship handset is said to be getting rapid charging technology, meaning that it will charge up much faster than the S4. In addition, Phone Arena’s sources said that the battery for the Galaxy S5 could be able to pack 20% more energy into the same size of the battery in the Galaxy S4, meaning that the size of the handset shouldn’t be much different. Many are expecting to see a 5.25-inch screen on the Galaxy S5.

Other possible features of the handset include an AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,560 by 1,440 and a 16-megapixel camera. The Galaxy S5 could be unveiled in an event in London in mid-March.
