Facebook Is Down For Many Users [UPDATE: UP NOW]

Update: Facebook appears to be back up and running after just a brief outage.

Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) appears to be down for users in many parts of the world. Some who are attempting to log onto the social network are greeted by this message: “Sorry, something went wrong. We’re working on it and we’ll get it fixed as soon as we can.”

Not everyone seems to be affected by the outage, however, there are plenty of complaints about it on Twitter. Also some report being able to log in and update a status but that hashtags aren’t working.
