Game of Thrones has created so much buzz online that even those who have never watched it now want to see why everyone else is going crazy about it. And then there are a few others who have canceled the cable subscription, but can’t live without the Game of Thrones. The season 6 has started airing and a lot of people wonder how they can watch it online without paying a dime.
Watch the entire Game of Thrones season 6 for free
HBO airs every new episode of the fantasy drama every Sunday at 9 pm EST or 6 pm Pacific Time. But if you can’t watch it at that time for one reason or the other, it’s OK. You can playback the last episode or any previous episode anytime you want. So, what’s the trick? HBO’s online streaming service HBO Now has started offering a free month to new subscribers. HBO Now lets you watch HBO programming through an app or channel on almost any smartphone, tablet, computer or TV.
All you have to do is add the HBO Now channel to your device or download the app. Then sign up for the free 30-day trial to enjoy the Game of Thrones. But there are a few things you should know. After the 30-day trial has ended, you’ll have to pay $15 per month. So, make sure you don’t become a Game of Thrones addict. If you want it to keep watching it for free even after the 30-day trial, you have to sign up for a new HBO Now account and get another 30 days. You can repeat this process until the season 6 is over.
HBO fixes issues that frustrated users last week
The 30-day free trial has made it easier for users to watch at least a few episodes of the fantasy drama. Many users took to Twitter to express their frustration over problems. Some users were prompted to restart their subscriptions to enjoy the show even though they had already signed up. Others noticed errors saying the stream was blocked in their region or, worse, was not in the system. HBO recently assured users that the issues have been fixed.
