The SPA reports today that a gunman shot and killed a U.S. national in Riyadh this afternoon. Officials said the gunman fired on the person’s car, also injuring another US. national in the process. Police responded quickly and apprehended a suspect, they said.
The shooting happened when the two stopped at a gas station not far from the King Fahd stadium. Police said they exchanged gunfire with the assailant, injuring him before they arrested him.
