The Galaxy S4 is set to be unveiled March 14. The media invitations have already been sent out, and now Samsung has posted a tempting image on its Facebook page. The event will be held in Times Square at 7 p.m. on that date, and the company is branding it as “Samsung Unpacked 2013, Episode One.” Samsung will also stream the event live at ‘SamsungMobile’ channel at YouTube.

The device is considered by many to be the most anticipated Android product expected this year, so expectations are running high. At this point Samsung hasn’t released many details of what kinds of features and specs the Galaxy S4 will have. Unlike with most other tech gadgets, little information about the device has been leaked.

However we do know a few details. Earlier this week it was announced that Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) would likely include Visa Inc (NYSE:V)’s PayWave mobile payment application, which will link the device to the user’s Visa and other financial accounts.

Other reports and rumors about the Galaxy S4 include a variety of specs, like the company’s octo-core Exynos processor, along with a separate eight-core graphics processing unit. It could also have a 4.99-inch SuperAmoled display and 2 gigs of RAM, plus a 13-megapixel rear camera which features 1080p video capabilities and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. At this point we just don’t know which, if any, of these reports are true. We’ll have to just wait and see what the company shows off on March 14.

Even though the Galaxy S4 won’t be unveiled for a couple more weeks, Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX: 005930) still had plenty to show off at the Mobile World Congress this week. CNET reports that the company’s featured product at MWC this year is the Galaxy Note 8. It’s eight inches in size, so it’s more of a tablet than a phone. However the stylus will make it easier to take notes while the user is out and about.

Samsung also showed off the Galaxy Fame and the Galaxy Young sport, which look similar to the Galaxy S4, although the Galaxy Young is designed with less expensive features, perhaps for children. The company’s HomeSync and Tizen operating system were also featured at the show.
