The PUBG Mobile 0.7.1 update has now released for iOS and Android, but is currently only available in China.
While PUBG Mobile has taken the mobile gaming market by storm in countries around the world, the application got its start in the Chinese market. It makes sense, then, that the Chinese app would be a little bit ahead of the worldwide release, making the launch of the PUBG Mobile 0.7.1 update exclusively in China a little more palatable.
If you’re lucky enough to live in China (or have downloaded the Chinese version of the game from another country) you can now enjoy PUBG Mobile 0.7.1 which adds a number of new features and gameplay experiences to the popular battle Royale title.
PUBG Mobile 0.7.1 was in beta for a while and available to select users, but the company seems to be happy with the performance and has taken the opportunity to release the myriad of new features to the gaming community at large.
PUBG Mobile 0.7.1 seems like it should be a small addition as a point update, it appears as if that’s not the case with a surprising amount of new features that make the gameplay much more well-rounded and enjoyable.
The PUBG Mobile 0.7.1 update adds a brand new gaming mode, a “visual expression system” which serves to make the characters feel more realistic, as well as a new system called “Jedean Warzone” which ranks players based on their geographic location. With how big the game has become in China, it will be fun for gamers to compare themselves to people within their region rather than the entirety of China.
In addition to the features discussed above, gamers will now be able to watch their friends and acquaintances take part in the game in real time rather than get involved in the game itself. This is a refreshing addition that adds another cool perk for those who want a break from the action and would like to enjoy watching their friends battle it out for that top spot.
PUBG Mobile 0.7.1 also adds a number of bug fixes and improvements that are incredibly robust, including optimization of the logic of a gamer’s friends list, fixing various visual glitches, and even some balancing of game weapons in order to make the game seem more realistic.
All in all, it’s appealing as if PUBG Mobile 0.7.1 has a lot to offer, and it’s a shame that it’s only released in China at this point in time. Hopefully we gamers in other countries can see some similar features implemented soon, as while the release we have thus far is already excellent, there’s always room for improvement.
If you’re a PUBG Mobile gamer in China, however, you can take advantage of the update by downloading it via the App Store or Google Play Store. The rest of us are either stuck waiting or forced to download the Chinese version, but hopefully that won’t be the case for long.
