The Center for Medicine, Health, and Society hosts “Our Brains, Ourselves?,” a lecture on neuroscience, neuropolitics, and technologies of the neurobiological self on February 18, 2015. The lecture features Professor Nikolas Rose of the Department of Social Science, Health, and Medicine at King’s College London and is moderated by Professor Dominique Behague (Medicine, Health & Society). Respondents include Professor Stephan Heckers (Department of Psychiatry, Vanderbilt), Professor Emily Nacol (Department of Political Science, Vanderbilt), Professor Jonathan Metzl (Medicine, Health & Society), and Associate Professor Sarah Igo (Department of History, Vanderbilt).
