Today’s midday gainer is KKR Financial Holdings LLC. (NYSE:KFN), the finance company shot up +28.58%, reaching $12.15 after being sold for $2.6 billion to KKR & Co. Billionaire Leon Cooperman holds 15 million shares (2.35% of his fund) acquired for $6.72.
