A new rumor suggests American actress and singer-songwriter Lindsay Lohan is dating Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, the man accused of being linked to and possibly orchestrating the murder of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi last year.
The rumor about Lindsay Lohan dating the Saudi crown prince was started by Page Six, although the writer didn’t actually use the word “dating.” The article questions what is going on between the two public figures and cites claims from Lohan’s friends as evidence that something might be going on.
According to Page Six, Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman has been flying Lohan around in his private jets and buying her expensive gifts and even giving her a gift-wrapped credit card. A representative for the singer-songwriter said the two met only once at a Formula One Grand Prix race and denied that bin Salman gave her a credit card.
However, Lohan’s friends reportedly told the site that she has been showing them text messages between her and the Saudi crown prince. The friends are even said to be “boasting about what they claim is a new friendship,” although a representative for Lohan called the reports “lies.” Other sources who are allegedly close to the actress claim it isn’t uncommon for Middle Eastern dignitaries to court her.
Meaww added to Page Six’s story, inserting the word “dating” to insinuate that what’s going on between Lohan and bin Salman is more than friendship. In addition to claiming that Lindsay Lohan is dating Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, the post also alleges that Lohan has been displaying some “strange behavior” in recent years.
According to Meaww, she was supposed to appear on the Australian TV show Have You Been Paying Attention earlier this month, but she never showed up. Lohan was also reportedly slated to join the panel of judges on the Australian show The Masked Singer, but she supposedly cancelled her appearance, allegedly because she was “resting up” for an upcoming gig.
That same day, Lohan reportedly posted a video of herself on a luxury yacht on Instagram, using the caption “Had to stay home and rinse my hair.” The Daily Mail suggests that the video could have been a throwback because she wore the same bikini while on vacation in 2016.
It’s unclear whether Lohan is romantically linked to anyone in particular right now, but as a follow-up to the initial report about Lohan and bin Salman, Page Six claimed the Saudi crown prince is “quietly” married to Princess Sara bint Mashoor bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The website claims they married in 2006 and have three or four children together. There are no public photos of the princess.
