Hank Greenberg, former Chairman and CEO of American International Group (AIG), spoke with FOX Business Network’s (FBN) Charlie Gasparino about former New York Governor and Attorney General Eliot Spitzer’s downfall.  When asked if Greenberg blew the whistle on Spitzer, Greenberg said “I had nothing to do with that” and that “he blew himself up.”

On whether Greenberg blew the whistle on Eliot Spitzer:

“No not at all, I had nothing to do with that.”

On whether anybody from Wall Street blew the whistle on Eliot Spitzer:

“No I don’t think so, I think he blew himself up. He violated a law apart from moving money improperly, and then with dealing with the prostitutes. He blew himself up and he got caught.”
