BlackBerry’s upcoming device, the Venice, has been in the news for quite some time, and now a few more images have been leaked before its official debut, revealing the BB10-style virtual keyboard for the Android device. The image clearly shows that the handset will come with front-facing speakers, says a report from CrackBerry.

Virtual keyboard shown

The BlackBerry Venice shown in the leaked images is similar to the ones shown in earlier images. The device comes with curved edges and a large display. The top edge of the device has the BlackBerry logo emblazoned on it. On the right side, we have the familiar three-button layout.

Regarding the features, the device is expected to come with a QUAD-HD screen of 5.4-inches and run on the powerful hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor clocked at 1.8GHz. It will have Adreno 418 graphics and 3GB of RAM. Previous leaks have confirmed that the device will come with a rear camera of 18 megapixels. The device will have a slide-out style keyboard as per rumors, but we have yet to see it.

For users comfortable with touchscreen typing, the device offers a virtual keyboard quite similar to the one used in BB10 devices, as revealed by the image. The BlackBerry Z10 and Z30 came with a terrific next word prediction feature, and hopefully the new keyboard will boast this feature too.
