Recent filings with the SEC reveal Warren Buffett’s compensation and costs of providing home and personal security services.

Schedule 14A shows that Warren Buffet’s salary for remained unchanged at $100,000, the same level it has been at for more than a quarter century.

However total compensation has crept up 1% from the previous year due to increased costs associated with keeping Buffett safe. The cost of providing home and personal security services rose to $370,244 from $364,011 from a year earlier. Buffett’s total compensation for running Berkshire Hathaway came in at $470,244 for 2015.

Warren Buffett remains in control of 19% of all of Berkshire Hathaway’s outstanding stocks and wields 33% of its voting power. Forbes reported on March 15, 2016 that Buffett is worth $66 billion.

Vice Chairman Charlie Munger drew a $100,000 salary in 2015.

Chief Financial Officer Marc Hamburg was the highest paid employee listed that works out of the head office in Omaha, with total compensation of $1.36 million in 2015.

These relatively small executive salaries at Berkshire Hathaway’s head office pales in comparison to some of the executives running its many subsidiaries. For example, Greg Abel, Chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway Energy, made $40.77 million in 2015.
