Facebook users who have a lot of friends on the website will rejoice thanks to a new app called Who Deleted Me on Facebook. The new app makes it easy for the social media site’s users to find out who deleted them off their friends list.

Features of the new Facebook app

The new app is very similar to Who Unfollowed Me for Twitter, which enables users to find out who stopped following them on the micro-blogging site. The Who Deleted Me on Facebook app was on the site before it was removed earlier this year due to a policy change.

Facebook’s adds GIF button

In other Facebook-related news, the social media giant is testing out features that make GIF sharing inside Messenger even easier. The tech site initially unveiled a series of third-party GIF apps that can be used inside Messenger, and now the site is taking the next big step by adding a series of pilots which enable GIF images to be shared within Messenger without the help of third-party apps.

The website is currently testing out a special GIF button that enables users to send moving images. Such a button would save a lot of energy and time. The current setup makes sharing moving GIF images difficult as users have to download a third-party app and use it in addition to the Facebook Messenger app.

The GIF share button was rolled out last week to roughly 700 active users. The feature skims a wide range of popular GIF images from Riffsy and Giphy. The two companies created dedicated apps for Facebook Messenger. The only downside to this new feature so far is that the selection of GIFs is rather limited. The GIF images include a link to download either the GIF image or the Messenger version.

Facebook strives to be the primary destination for all things social, and this latest update brings the company one step closer.
