Lumber Liquidators CEO Has Video Footage The Test 60 Minutes Conducted “Wasn’t A Real World Test”

Lumber Liquidators CEO Tom Sullivan spoke with FOX Business Network (FBN) regarding the recent 60 Minutes report stating some of its products contain a cancer-causing chemical. Sullivan states an unreleased portion of the segment features interviewer Anderson Cooper, saying the test they conducted, “wasn’t a real world test and wasn’t part of the CARB standard.” Sullivan further commented that Lumber Liquidators is not allowed to release any of the unaired footage without permission from 60 Minutes, but “that’s possible,” they will petition for it to be released.

Lumber Liquidators CEO Tom Sullivan on whether Lumber Liquidators will release a video of the unaired 60 Minutes footage:

“[Anderson Cooper] agreed it wasn’t a real world test and wasn’t part of the CARB standard. We taped the interview and before the interview we had to agree not to show or release any tape unless they gave us permission to.”

Lumber Liquidators CEO Tom Sullivan on whether they will fight to release the tape:

“That’s possible, yes.”
