Purchasing in-app content on iOS is very easy that even a kid can do it, but what’s worst is that it can also happen by mistake. Developers on iOS platform are developing many Freemium games which are free to play but you need to shell out money for in-app purchase. This is a neat trick to earn, which is adopted by developers.

If you are sharing your iDevice with your family, then there’s a high possibility that kids can mistakenly or knowingly purchase in-app content which will add up to the iTunes bill.

Some apps sell more content and new features while games can offer more powerful upgrades, new weapons, gold, currency and other enhancements that can help you score big in the game. Kids can be easily lured by character upgrades and other such in-app offers.

A better solution will be to disable/turn off in-app purchases on your iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Just follow the below procedure:

  1. Go to “Settings” > “General” and tap on “Restrictions”.
