Former Chairman and CEO of American International Group Inc (NYSE:AIG) Hank Greenberg spoke with FOX Business Network’s (FBN) Charlie Gasparino about former New York Governor and Attorney General Eliot Spitzer’s attempt to run for New York City Comptroller. When asked how Greenberg felt after hearing Eliot Spitzer lost his chance on becoming New York City Comptroller Greenberg said, “I felt very, very good…he was a disgraced politician.” Greenberg went on to say, “I do think he [Spitzer] was a bad guy.”

On whether Hank Greenberg was happy to see Eliot Spitzer lose his bid to re-enter politics as New York City Comptroller:

“I felt very, very good…he was a disgraced politician. I do not believe that he understood some of the things that he was bringing charges…I do think he was a bad guy.”

On whether Hank Greenberg would give former United States Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson “an F” on the five year anniversary of the financial crisis:

“From me he would have.”
