If you’re tired by seeing the same old Gmail login page, you’re not alone. The last significant change to Google’s web-based login page was a long time ago, in which the company promoted its mobile apps for Android and App Store. The same login page is still visible to most users, but a few lucky ones are able to view the new, refreshed and redesigned login Gmail page. Users on Twitter have been reporting about the roll-out of the revamped page.
Of course, those who always remain logged-in won’t be able to see the new login page. But many people prefer to log-out of their account, such as users who use public computers or share the same computer with others in their house.
Gmail’s redesigned page places the login at the center of the page, shifting from the right, similar to the Gmail’s mobile app. But that’s not all, as the new page saves all the login history, this means when you open the login page again, you simply have to select your name and enter the password for your account to access your Gmail. You’re basically presented with a “Choose your account” screen.
Google is slowly rolling out the new page for everyone
For now, the new page is live for only a few users. Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) is slowly rolling out the new page for everyone, but we’ll need to wait for it patiently. It seems that Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) is slowly moving towards making a single standard interface between mobile devices and the web.
