BlackBerry has officially launched its long-awaited Classic device in Indonesia, which is one of its major markets. In Indonesia, the device will be available starting March 26.
Lower pricing for Indonesia
On Wednesday, the device was introduced in Jakarta by BlackBerry Indonesia managing director Sofran Irchamni. The Indonesian pricing of the device is IDR 5,599,000 or $431. This is lower than the Indian pricing of the device, which is at $517.
“We are very excited to bring the much anticipated BlackBerry Classic to customers here in Indonesia,” said Irchamni.

Potential buyers in the U.K. can now preorder the device at several retailers such as Unlocked Mobiles, Expansys and Clove, who are selling the device at £205, £215 and £215 respectively, says a report from the IB Times. The Leap is the latest BlackBerry 10 device, and as confirmed by Vodafone, it too will offer the device, but only to business users.
