On Thursday, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) confirmed to All Things D that their Worldwide Developers Conference 2013 will start with a keynote. This year’s week-long event will kick off on June 10 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Naturally, the tech company didn’t mention the details or the topics that will be discussed during the event but they have previously disclosed their plans to introduce the next generations of the OS X and iOS. Although the highly anticipated iPhone 5S will likely be introduced at a later event, there is speculation that a new generation of MacBooks will be introduced. The new MacBooks will feature the new Intel Haswell processor.
All Things D explained in their post, “Apple today said the keynote address for its annual Worldwide Developers Conference will occur on Monday, June 10, at Moscone Centre in San Francisco. Not a big surprise, as that is the day the event kicks off. Speakers for the keynote have not been announced — nor are they likely to be. But expect to see CEO Tim Cook presiding over the standard cast of characters as they demonstrate the latest in Apple tech.”
This year’s WWDC event will be huge. Tickets for the show sold out within a couple of minutes.
Apple WWDC To Focus?
Given that the majority of the focus on the WWDC will be on iOS and OS X, it’s a safe bet to say there will be many predictions made during and after the conference. Although it’s true that we will be given a small glimpse as to what we might expect from the upcoming iPhone, nothing will be confirmed until Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) introduces the next iPhone.
There are a lot of expectations for the next great smartphone and it would truly be surprising if Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) disappointed their fans. Fortunately, it sounds like Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) might have something big planned for the future.
