Although there has been no word on what this Apple event will be about, many people are speculating that they’ll launch several new products, including the iPad Mini and a 13-inch MacBook Pro. Both products are targeted towards more budget-minded consumers and should help Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) reel in the sales this upcoming holiday season.
The iPad Mini has been rumored to be coming since early 2012. This smaller tablet is poised to compete with Amazon’s Kindle Fire and Barnes & Noble’s Nook Tablet. It reportedly features a 7.85 inch screen and A5 processor. It won’t feature a Retina display. It’s rumored to start at $299.
The smaller MacBook Pro is another rumored product, but there are currently no speculations on what we can expect from it. There are no proposed pricing points regarding this gadget either.
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) may also unveil a new Mac Mini, new iTunes, and new iBooks. We will keep you posted.
