The survival horror tile 7 Days to Die will become available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in June, thanks to a partnership between Telltale Publishing with developer ‘The Fun Pimps.’ In a press release, Telltale also shared plans of adding new multiplayer modes to the console versions of the game, and the first of those will be a local split screen that will come with additional online multiplayer modes and features, which could be announced in near future.

The game – 7 Days to Die – is ‘set in a brutally post-apocalyptic world overrun by the undead,’ and blends first person shooter, survival horror, tower defense, and rpg elements.
Speaking about the game, the co-founder of The Fun Pimps – Richard Huenink – said that 7 Days to Die is a labor of love for their small group of games industry veterans. After a robust Kickstarter campaign, the company is very grateful to their active community of Steam Early Access users for their positive response, said Huenink.
Huenink said their company is trying to get the game to new survivors across the globe, and its partners at Telltale Publishing are offering all their help to them. The company is excited that Telltale brought them together with the people at Iron Galaxy, for the purpose of building the game collaboratively, the co-founder said.
“They have a stellar track record, and have been incredible partners in ensuring a perfect translation that includes new features and content not seen in the PC version,” Huenink said.

Telltale’s SVP Publishing – Steve Allison – said that Telltale Publishing aims at bringing the best and most innovative games in their genres to the new audiences. The game 7 Days to Die already has more than 1.5 million PC players worldwide, and they are delighted to bring this game from the PC to consoles wordlwode, said Allison.

The PC version of the game received overwhelmingly positive user feedback, and now, the company is eager to expose a brand new audience to this exceptional and terrifying sandbox experience, said Allison.
7 Days to Die game can be pre-ordered from GameStop, Best Buy, GAME, and Amazon. Players pre-ordering the game will win exclusive access to five different character skins from Telltale’s The Walking Dead including Michonne and Lee Everett. Both the physical and digital copies of the game will be available at a cost of $29.99.
