3D Systems Corporation (NYSE:DDD), one of the leading providers of the most comprehensive and affordable 3D printing products and services was ranked 13th in the Forbes 100 Most Innovative Growth Companies with less than $10 billion market capitalization.

Those included in the Forbes 100 Most Innovative Growth Companies demonstrated their ability to continue to grow through innovation. According to Forbes, the companies are “ranked by their innovation premium: the difference between their market capitalization and a net present value of cash flows from existing businesses (based on a proprietary formula from Finstra Consulting in collaboration with Innovators DNA LLC (using data provided by HOLT, a division of Credit Suisse).”

Forbes also explained that the difference between those included in the list of 100 Most Innovative Growth Companies is the bonus provided by equity investors on the “educated hunch” that the company would continue to develop a “profitable new growth.” The business magazine generates its annual list by measuring “Innovative Premium” using a propriety formula in collaboration with Credit Suisse Group AG (ADR) (NYSE:CS).
