The much-anticipated Call of Duty: Mobile app is now available, and we’ve got the iOS download and Android download links here. The game is free to download on both platforms, although it would be helpful if you had a powerful phone to play it on because of the graphics load and framerate.

We first heard that Call of Duty: Mobile was coming in March, and the beta version was released in May. What’s available now on Apple’s App Store and the Google Play Store is the full public version. Tencent’s TiMi Studios developed the game, which was published by Activision. The game brings a combination of Modern Warfare and Black Ops maps, characters and weapons, making it a nice addition to any CoD fan’s arsenal.
Although Call of Duty: Mobile is free to play, it’s filled with in-app purchases, which shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. The prices of the in-app purchases range from an ultra-cheap and reasonable 99 cents all the way up to an insanely expensive $100. Since the game was just released, it’s still unclear just how much players can do without actually paying any real-world money.

CoD Mobile is already hugely popular
According to Activision, the Call of Duty: Mobile app offers “full head-to-head competitive Multiplayer modes, as well as an all-new Battle Royale experiences, including classic locations from Call of Duty featuring land, sea and air vehicles.” The publisher is planning to add more free content in the near future, although there’s no word yet on what will be included. We would expect new game modes, gear that can be customized and more.
Eurogamer reports that players have already been diving into the mobile game. Many are even going so far as to connect a keyboard and mouse to their mobile devices to play the first-person shooter. There’s a host of videos explaining how to play Call of Duty: Mobile with a mouse, keyboard and bigger screen. So far, the most popular method for doing this seems to be using the GameLoop emulation, which has reportedly been downloaded more than 200,000 times. It’s possible Activision will do something to halt this trend, but so far, nothing has been done.
