New Conspiracy Theory Suggests Earth Is Hollow

Updated on

During 2017, various interesting events took place, especially in science. However, many conspiracy theorists have spent this year debating the true shape of the Earth. Belief in the Earth being flat went so far that one “self-taught” rocket scientist wanted to launch himself in a rocket in order to show the real shape of our planet. While the belief in the Earth being flat is still popular in 2017, there are also people suggesting that the Earth is hollow.

This group of believers not only claim that the Earth is hollow, but also that super-intelligent aliens, Nazis, and Vikings live deep inside, tucked in our “hollow planet.” The conspiracy theory describes that there is something like a heaven, hidden at the center of the planet, similar to the “Garden of Eden.” The group of these believers who promote the “hollow earth theory” are convinced that UFOs have been sent from the core of Earth to spy on us, while preventing nuclear wars and other catastrophes.

The most enthusiastic spreader of this theory is Rodney Cluff. He has written a book which describes this theory, “World Top Secret: Our Earth IS Hollow.” He slams the theory of a flat earth.

“I don’t know how the flat-earthers can be so confused. They are obviously wrong. The world is not flat – it’s hollow. They reject all the evidence,” he told The Sun.

Unlike the flat-earth believers, hollow-earth believers believe that our planet is spherical in its shape. However, they believe that the planet is shaped like a “doughnut.” Additionally, while flat-earthers believe that other planets may be round, hollow-earthers argue that other planets, moons, and stars are hollow also. According to the hollow-earthers, there are three “substantial” entrances that lead towards the core of the earth. One is positioned in the Himalayan region, while the other two are located over the North and South poles.

“Suspended in the center of that hollow is an interior sun that is divided by day and night sides,” Cluff told The Sun.

Cluff was so convinced in the theory that the Earth is hollow that he arranged a trip to the core of the hollow earth in 2007. He wanted to search for the North Pole’s entrance from Russia with an “icebreaker ship.” The expedition was $20,000 (£15,000) per head. However, it was canceled before they took off.

“More and more people are coming to terms with the fact that the Earth is hollow. I get emails from people learning about it every day. It’s definitely growing in popularity – certainly not in the millions but maybe in the thousands,” Cluff said.

Back in 1811, Olaf Jansen, a sailor from Norway, claimed that he visited the core of the earth using the entrance which was located at the North Pole. He said that there were 12 foot tall humans and that they were immune from all diseases, The Sun reports.

“The city of ‘Eden’ is located in what seems to be a beautiful valley, yet, in fact, it is on the loftiest mountain plateau of the Inner Continent,” Jansen had said, reported the Sun.

“They regularly spy on us using spacecrafts and flying saucers. They want to keep an eye on us and stop us from starting nuclear war. The majority of UFOs actually come from inside our planet,” said the conspiracy theorist, Cluff.

These conspiracy theories have already been debunked by modern science and NASA as well.
