Vanderbilt Alumni Career Services presents “Developing Mental Toughness,” a webinar recorded on March 21, 2017 with Brian Lomax (BA’89).

What is mental toughness? It’s a common term in sports, but athletes are not the only ones who face pressure and stress on a daily basis. To be at our best more often, we could all be tougher mentally. In this webinar, Brian Lomax, mental skills trainer, will show you the 4 elemental skills of mental toughness and how to start practicing them right away. Great results start with doing the basics every day – we just need to get started!

Our presenter, Brian Lomax, is a Vanderbilt alumnus (BA’89), and an expert in training mental skills. He is the sports psychology consultant for several athletic teams at Bryant University, Holy Cross College, and Boston College, as well as the New England Academy of Tennis. Through this training, Brian’s students have not only become better competitors, but have also learned the character skills necessary for leading a fulfilling life.
