Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) said not long ago that it would be releasing a new version of its Galaxy Gear smart watch alongside the Galaxy S5. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) itself that it was working on biometrics. More specifically, the company said it was trying to get an eye scanner ready for the handset, although management was unsure that it would be ready.
