Thanks to a new device from Bionym called Nymi, we may no longer need to memorize a single password. The wearable bracelet “learns” your heartbeat and then grants access to accounts and devices just by being present.
We all struggle with online security nowadays with seemingly every website requiring you to remember a username and password, and that’s not even considering the NSA’s threat to your cyber privacy. To solve the problems caused by a plethora of passwords, many folks revert to simple phrases and/or reusing those phrases for multiple websites. Many biometric companies have been tackling this issue, and rumors have even pointed to a fingerprint scanner in the upcoming iPhone.
