In an interview with GuruFocus, Tom Gayner mentioned a few of his favorite books. Below is the list:

Security Analysis, and The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham. He also likes John Train

Gayner sated that Peter Lynch's book, Beating the Street, is a favorite. Chuck Ackre personally recommended 100 to 1 in the stock market to him.

He mentioned that his favorite author is Mark Twain, and stated there is a "subtext of money, and finance, and investing, and behavior that underlies much of Mark Twain's work. And if you read and study Mark Twain, I think you get a good sense of the qualitative factors that affect investing as opposed to just the pure numbers."
