Favorite Books List: Recommendations From Gates, Einhorn, Munger, Greeblatt, Loeb, Klarman, Chanos And More

Last updated 12/24/2019 with some new favorite books list recommendations from Bill Gates. Gates lists five new books, which makes his total number of recommendations reach over 200 for one of the richest men in the world.

Most readers are likely familiar with the following quote from Charlie Munger: “In my whole life, I have known no wise people who didn’t read all the time — none, zero. You’d be amazed at how much Warren (Buffett) reads — at how much I read. My children laugh at me. They think I’m a book with a couple of legs sticking out”.

With that in mind we have been updating our book list and now have a consolidated post below. We are updating and adding posts.  It is not always easy to find recommendations and some come from obscure places or are just word of mouth. While we want to not miss any names it is important that every reference has a accurate source, so we are updating that, as well. Also, because this is a difficult task if we are missing any on this list please email us tips@valuewalk.com. We start off with famous investor recommendations followed by curated lists. Check back since we will be updating frequently.

Finally, we get an affiliate fee if you purchase any books – its entirely anonymous and we do not earn enough to be as rich as anyone on this list but maybe enough to buy a used and worn down copy of some of these books
