Very little is known about GTA 6 game, the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto video game series.

Rockstar has left fans hanging on GTA 6 and other titles such as Red Dead Redemption 2. In the absence of information, fans speculate on when the next game might be released, or why nothing has been heard about the game up until this point.
When people analyze why GTA 6 hasn’t come out yet, the biggest explanation appears to be GTA 5. The game is apparently still raking in mountains of cash for its developers even 5 years after its release.
Despite being relatively old in gaming terms, GTA 5 is incredibly popular with online gamers and still holds a spot in the Top Ten for games in the United States and many other countries. The game has made $700 million in revenue in the last year and has sold more copies than during the previous twelve months.
All of these figures are incredibly impressive, and it isn’t hard to see why Rockstar isn’t rushing to release GTA 6. With the previous game still performing incredibly well, it makes more sense to wait until fans are clamoring for a new game.
Is Rockstar going to make a new GTA 6 game?
While there are plenty of people that are wondering about GTA 6, they are still playing GTA 5. That is apparently enough for Rockstar right now.
At the same time there has been absolutely no sign that GTA 6 will ever be made at all. Fans must be hoping that it will be, but it must be said that for the moment it appears that they are more than content with GTA 5.
However the latest rumors are saying that GTA 6 will be released sometime during 2018. One of the only criticisms of GTA 5 is the storyline, which has left some players less than impressed.
It has been speculated that Rockstar is planning out a detailed storyline for GTA 6, and this could be one reason for the delay. Another possibility is that Rockstar is waiting for games consoles to become more advanced before releasing the game. There have been rumors that the developer could add a virtual reality experience to GTA 6.

Assuming that the game is released, it seems likely that it will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One S and PC.
If you are worried that GTA 6 might not be released, these words from producer Leslie Benzies might go some way to putting your mind at rest.
“We’ve got about 45 years’ worth of ideas we want to do,” he said during a press conference. “We don’t know what ‘GTA VI’ will be, but we’ve got some ideas.”
While this sounds vaguely encouraging, it does little to sate the appetite for information on the game. As things stand you should take all of the rumors with a pinch of salt. It’s impossible to say what is going to happen to the Grand Theft Auto franchise without official information from the game developers.
