Joel Greenblatt appeared on CNBC yesterday and discussed his brand new book The Little Book that Still Beats the Market (Little Books. Big Profits). The book is an updated version of The Little Book That Beats the Market (Little Books. Big Profits)
. Although the title might be cheesy, the information in the book is quite valuable. Greenblatt describes the magic formula he invested for finding a great business (high Return on capital) at cheap price ( as determined by earnings yield).
On a different note, Greenblatt authored another excellent book titled You Can Be a Stock Market Genius: Uncover the Secret Hiding Places of Stock Market Profits (again a cheesy title). I consider this book to be one of the best I have ever read on investing.
