A leaked Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) memo shows that Twitter may force users to identify what political party they vote for so users can block out ideas they do not want to hear. The idea is that by forcing users to identify their political allegiance other uses can either block out there views entirely, or ‘subscribe’ to there views. Twitter hopes this idea will keep political conflict on the platform down by isolating both sides.

A leaked image shows what this segregated Twitter would look like, Republicans would be identified with golden stars on their profile picture while Democrats will be identified by a horse.
When we reached out to Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter for comment he simply said “Twitter generally does not comment on leaked materials, but what I can say is yes, expect something like this on Twitter eventually. We are prioritizing making our platform the most advanced and that includes improving user experiences.” Jack then dropped ten hits of LSD and started quoting Charles Manson.
