Anthony Pompliano net worth 2025
Pompliano has never officially stated his net worth.
However, based on different estimates of his net worth and the information from his interviews, Pompliano’s net worth in 2025 is estimated to be between $100 and $200 million.
The majority of Pompliano’s net worth comes from his crypto investments, especially in Bitcoin. In fact, Pomp, in a 2021 interview, revealed that 95% of his net worth comes from Bitcoin.
Other than crypto, his net worth includes strategic investments in real estate and startups, as well as earnings from his podcast, newsletter, and social media engagements. His podcast has over 530,000 subscribers on YouTube, while The Pomp Newsletter has more than 260,000 subscribers (fees ranging from free to $10 per month or $500 a year).
Pomp has also spent a few years working for high-profile social media companies like Facebook and Snapchat. Prior to this, he successfully founded a startup, called Digaforce, which was acquired the same year. So, it is very possible that Pomp built an impressive net worth even before he entered the crypto industry.
Early life, education, and career
Pompliano was born on June 15, 1988, in North Carolina. He is one of the four sons of Tony Pompliano, who is the founder of ANEXIO, a large-scale infrastructure solution provider. Pompliano attended Cardinal Gibbons High School, and then received his Bachelor of Arts (economics and sociology) from Bucknell University.
Before starting his career, Pompliano served for six years as a sergeant in the U.S. military, including a deployment in Iraq in 2008. After leaving the U.S. military in 2012, Pomp switched to the tech sector and founded social platform Digaforce in 2013.
Digaforce, which studied demographic information based on unfiltered social content, was acquired by Strategic Link Partners in late 2013.
In 2014, Pomp joined Facebook as the head of the Growth & Engagement team for Facebook Pages, and switched to Snapchat the next year.
In 2016, Pomp co-founded a venture capital firm, Full Tilt Capital. The startup was later acquired by Morgan Creek Capital Management, where Pomp became a co-founder and partner. He also started another venture capital firm, Pomp Investments, which, according to his LinkedIn profile, builds companies and invests in others.
Pompliano is married to Polina Marinova, a former journalist and founder of a media company, The Profile. The couple has two children.
Pompliano’s love for crypto
Pompliano strongly advocates for Bitcoin adoption and believes the digital asset is an anti-fragile investment. The entrepreneur, in fact, expects BTC to overtake gold’s market capitalization soon.
Pompliano started ‘seriously’ investing in BTC in 2015, and his investment presumably ballooned during the 2017 bull run. He continued accumulating Bitcoin and other crypto assets in the following years, and his net worth reportedly jumped to more than $300 million during 2021’s altcoin rush.
In a 2019 interview with CNBC’s Squawk Box, the entrepreneur revealed that BTC accounted for more than half of his net worth. A year later, Pompliano admitted in his podcast that he has increased his Bitcoin exposure and that crypto accounts for 80% of his net worth, while in 2021, he admitted 95% of his net worth comes from Bitcoin.
Pompliano’s growing crypto portfolio made him an influential figure in the industry. He even convinced comedian Bill Burr to invest in Bitcoin and played an important part in BlockFi’s funding round, which was led by Morgan Creek Digital.
In 2021, the serial entrepreneur came up with a Bitcoin Pizza chain, which partners with local outlets to deliver Bitcoin-themed pizzas with profits going to the Human Rights Foundation to support Bitcoin developers. Pomp started the pizza chain to honor the first commercial Bitcoin transaction, where 10,000 BTC were exchanged for two pizzas.
Pomp also hosts a podcast, The Pomp Podcast. The podcast has millions of subscribers and helps Pompliano to share his crypto knowledge with a wide audience. Pompliano’s podcast, a significant source of his revenue, has featured prominent figures like Michael Saylor, David Sacks, Mark Cuban, Cathie Wood, and many more.
