Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz have been arrested after arriving in Lahore.
According to reports, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has taken Nawaz and Maryam in its custody. According to reports the former premier and his daughter are cooperating with NAB officials.
FIA team has taken the passports from the former premier and his daughter, after which they were seated in the Hajj Lounge of the airport.
Nawaz and Maryam arrived in Lahore from Abu Dhabi at 8:50pm after their flight was delayed for over two hours. They had left London a day earlier.
