It is reported that Microsoft has paid the Finland based tech company Nokia a total of $250m in the final quarter of 2011 for using their Windows Phone platform.
It was last year that both of these companies went into agreement of partnership, but no one in general public really had any idea about the amount that Microsoft had to pay to their partners’ Nokia for using their Windows OS platform. However after Nokia has finally released their financial results the figures of the deal between these two big companies are quite evident.
Although, it is still not confirmed if Microsoft payments received by Nokia are ongoing or was it just a first half of the deal, by looking at the decision of Nokia to launch their new devices in the fourth quarter of 2011.
