It’s being used in three main areas. Recruitment, training and recovery.
In recruitment, VR is changing the way that the Military find new recruits. It’s also being used to generate interest in young adults who may have an interest in signing up for the armed forces but who perhaps don’t quite know it yet.
It’s use in training is invaluable. Virtual Reality is allowing soldiers to train in life-like situations whilst doing it from the safety of… well wherever. We’ll show you some of the awesome training simulators they use.
Finally, recovery. Soldiers are now able to drastically reduce post-traumatic stress disorder through Virtual Reality thanks to the advancements in technology.
