The Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting will be held as always in Omaha Nebraska. The date of the meeting is Saturday April 30th2011. While, the event gets a lot of publicity for all thinking of attending there is a very exciting event before the shareholder meeting. It is a great event to attend for the event itself, plus the event provides an excellent opportunity to network.
Although it is not highly publicized, Robert Miles organizes a fantastic conference on the Thursday and Friday before the conference. There will be some famous value investors speaking including Tom Russo. Another exciting event is that people who attend the conference will be able to speak personally and meet with some famous authors including; Roger Lowenstein, Pat Dorsey and Doris Buffett.
